As a key member of our team, you will act as a point of contact and liaison between the department and internal/external stakeholders. You will support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the department manager or team members, while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity across teams and departments. Additionally, you will show the ability to learn and support the needs of a technical department that is pivotal to the operations of the group

What you will do?

  • Provide administrative support to a technology driven department (s), supporting and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the department
  • An individual that can operate in a VUCA / fast moving environment and is comfortable when plans change at short notice to accommodate the Trading teams
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for key team members within the function
  • Assist in organising and coordinating departmental events, conferences, and travel arrangements across multiple geographies and locations
  • Assist the PMO function within the department managing budget tracking, expense reports, and purchase orders

What you’ll bring to the role?

  • Proven experience as a Team Assistant or Office Manager in a similar role, ideally with a technology centric organisation
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills in a volatile environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), experience of task management tools (Jira etc beneficial)
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
