An opportunity for an effective leader to join the UK Sales Operations team


Are you a dynamic leader looking for an opportunity to join a rapidly changing organisation?

Following internal promotion, we have an opportunity for an effective leader to join the UK Sales Operations team in the role of Vice President UK Operations. You will oversee and optimise operational activities within the UK market, ensuring value protection, compliance, and high levels of customer satisfaction across our business-to-business portfolio.


With three direct reports and a total team of 65 you will provide clear direction, guidance, and support to achieve operational excellence, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies and procedures.

You will achieve this by

  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive efficiency, improve and harmonise processes and optimize resource allocation
  • Monitoring, developing and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Promoting objectives and key results (OKRs) to drive continuous improvement
  • Owning the relationship with third-party vendors and suppliers
  • Providing coaching and guidance to the Operations Management team to enhance their leadership skills and performance
  • Developing and implementing talent initiatives to promote individual development and growth and identify future leaders within UK operations

You will also

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and best practice in energy retail operations.
  • Own the submission of industry data submissions
  • Own the budget for UK Operations


You will be joining a high performing team at a time of change. Flexibility combined with a structured approach will be key to the success of this role combined with

  • Proven experience in a leadership role preferably overseeing operations within the energy retail sector or a regulated industry
  • Demonstrated track record of driving operational efficiency, process improvement and organisational change
  • Excellent people skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to leverage data and insight to inform decision-making and drive results
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
  • A degree level education or relative experience (desirable)
