Role objectives

The Supply & Industry Technical Analyst is responsible for the management and upkeep of all metering, AMR and transfer processes across our shipper portfolio and ensuring that industry data is processed efficiently, effectively and within agreed timescales.

They are critical in maintaining a strong shipper industry performance, delivering high levels of quality, prompt industry query resolution and supporting Metering Services and other internal departments.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Efficient resolution and feedback of industry exceptions, regularly resolving any data integrity issues whilst constantly improving the data quality of the portfolio
  • Prompt resolution of key industry queries
  • Take ownership of CMS queries, including but not limited to; address amendments, prime and sub meter queries and duplicate MPR issues
  • Manage the IGT new connection process
  • Efficiently handle all new MPR creations
  • Liaise with third parties across the industry to ensure issues are raised and resolved within agreed timescales
  • Represent SEFE Energy at regular shipper meetings
  • Be aware of any upcoming industry changes and how these will impact our team
  • Create and manage reports relating to Metering, AMR and Transfers across the SEFE shipper portfolio
  • Maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for all GSR site visit reports across the SEFE shipper portfolio
  • Maintain the integrity of data held across the portfolio by handling Xoserve MOD reports, internal data quality rules and data queries raised by internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist other departments across the business by ensuring an efficient flow of information between Operations, Sales and Finance teams
  • Maintain and develop high levels of customer service in support of SEFE Operational and Sales functions
  • Oversee industry data flows, ensuring these are managed efficiently between our supplier partners and industry participants

Experience

Significant experience in a Power and Gas metering, read or transfers role within the energy industry required
