This is a hands-on commercial legal role, where you will work closely with the Head of our Legal Team and provide general commercial legal advice to stakeholders at all levels of our organisation. Its provides a great opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive team environment.

What will you do?

You will:

  • Support the Head of Legal on all legal matters involving the business
  • Provide legal advice to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements (customer terms and conditions, supply of services agreements, NDAs, Variations and Novations, Agency Agreements etc.)
  • Deal with pre-litigation matters and liaising with external counsel
  • Develop and help provide legal risk training to the business
  • Assist with the development and management of company policies and procedures including contracts management, data protection, compliance and litigation.


What you’ll bring to the role?

You will demonstrate the following:

  • Confident self-starter who is keen to progress, learn, grow and take responsibility within a supportive in-house environment
  • Clear communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • Good presentation skills
  • Demonstrates good negotiation and influencing skills
  • Confident working with a high level of autonomy as part of a small team
  • Solid understanding of commercial law

Your qualifications and experience

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE from either a reputable law firm or In House organisation
  • Experience working with a wide variety of commercial agreements

You will need:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales
