An opportunity to join our Customer Services team on a fixed term basis


We are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Manchester on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

As Customer Service Administrator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of customer service operations. Working behind the scenes, you will monitor and manage email overflow, with a focus on achieving first-contact resolution. This position involves handling administrative tasks related to customer inquiries, collaborating closely with the customer service team, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


  • Handle and resolve customer enquiries via email to high standards so that agreed KPIs are achieved.
  • Achieve KPIs in line with company strategy and operational objectives.
  • Maintain and develop good levels of collaboration with other areas of the wider business.
  • Analysing tasks and ways of working to identify areas for improvement and ensuring any issues are identified, addressed, and resolved.
  • Liaise with other areas of the business to create successful outcome for customer enquiries.
  • Assist Operations Team Lead in reviewing and monitoring incoming contact to reduce further incoming contact, placing key focus on first contact resolution.


  • Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workloads and adhere to deadlines
  • You must be positive and self-motivated and be able to work very closely with your team members.
  • Ability to work individually when needed and use initiative.
  • Strong written skills to ensure faultless communication.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy
  • Ability to make informed decisions with confidence and upholding high levels of dependability and diligence
  • Experience within the energy industry would be preferable but not essential
  • Experience within a similar role would be preferable but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and equivalent
