We are looking for Account Managers to join our sales team in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands to contribute to the growth of our customer portfolios

We are looking for Account Managers to join our sales team in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands to contribute to the growth of the Netherlands SME and Mid-market customer portfolio through the account management of third-party intermediaries and high value direct customers.

What you will do?

Your primary role will be to develop and maintain relationships with your partners by offering live market prices for new and existing quotes.

You will develop partner relationships through handling sales queries, identifying opportunities to implement incentives to drive additional business, and to negotiate commercial terms to support sustainable and valuable growth. Your primary objective in this role is to build strong, valuable, and long-term relationships with your partners to increase new business and retention conversion.

You will also manage a portfolio of existing direct customers who will require differing levels of support throughout their contract lifecycle. You will upsell new products, identify new sales opportunities and resolve sales related issues to ensure retention targets are achieved.

In addition to partner and direct selling you will offer support to the remainder of your partner portfolio who will predominately transact with us through our online portal, identifying which of those partner’s present growth opportunities but are not yet an area of primary focus.

An important part of the role will be to develop an in-depth understanding of our operational processes and develop strong relationships within all operational and commercial teams so you can provide an effective service to all your partners and customers.

A desire to be organised and efficient is required to help develop strong relationships that will give your partners the confidence and support they need to sell our products effectively. Ownership and accountability are key in this role to ensure your daily workload is managed appropriately, resulting in speedy query resolution for your partners.

What you’ll bring to the role?

You will join us with a proven track record in business development and sales account management and ideally have a knowledge of the gas and /or power market in the Netherlands.

You will be adept at building effective and successful working relationships with both customers and colleagues and will use these skills to drive strong results. With a detail focused approach, you will be able to effectively manage competing and changing priorities and work at pace.

Communicating both in writing and verbally will be a key strength for you, as will the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will demonstrate competence in Microsoft office and be capable of adapting your skills to become competent with new ways of working.
